The United Employees of the State of California (UESC) is a state-wide employee association consisting exclusively of State of California employees. Our members come from every state agency and department. We are front-line employees, supervisors and managers; we are all in this together! We are registered and recognized by Cal HR as a bona fide employee organization. Our membership dues are payroll deducted through the California State Controller's Office. UESC was established by state employees to advocate and promote state employees and the services we provide.
We fight to ensure we have the tools and resources needed to perform the essential functions of our job. We monitor legislation in an effort to protect the interest of all state employees and the communities we serve. UESC is dedicated to protecting our members from privatization and budget cuts. Our association provides training courses and development programs to assist state employees with access to promotional opportunities.
Our dues are only $15 a month. By becoming a member of UESC, you will receive the following benefits in addition to regular updates and action alerts on state legislation and issues impacting state employees:
