Dear California State Employee,

As State of California employees, we work in a wide-variety of job classifications and in different departments.  Our job titles may be different and we may be employed by different state agencies, however, we are all public servants doing our level best to serve the residents of California.

It really makes no difference if you work at DMV, CalTrans, DOR, Parole, Corrections, CHP, Fish and Wildlife, CalFire, EDD or any other state agencies - we are all in this together!  UESC is not a union, but rather a State of California recognized and bona fide employee association. We welcome all state employees into our membership.  We know there is more that unites, than divides us.  Our strength is in our diversity, and our power is in our unity.

We lobby the State Legislatures to enact laws to ensure adequate funding of government services and staff. We work with the Administration and agencies to ensure our members have the tools and resources they need to adequately perform their job.  We work with our members to provide professional training in a wide variety of areas.  We assist our members with job promotional opportunities and to provide for their personal growth and development as public servants.

Our member benefits include:

  • $20,000 life insurance
  • Scholarship programs for members and their children
  • Discount tickets to amusement parks, rental cars, concerts
  • No cost financial education and consultation by certified financial planner
  • Access to low cost enhanced dental and vision plans
  • Access to low cost life, accident, disability and critical illness insurance

Our monthly dues are only $15 a month and are payroll deducted.  Please join us in making the State of California an even better place to live and work!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at Linda@UESC.us

Sincerely,
